Dr. Chih-Kai Chang received his Ph.D. degree in computer science from National Chiao Tung University (NCTU) and is currently the chief product officer of Woodpecker Technology, which is a cybersecurity start-up company founded in 2021. Before joined Woodpecker Technology, Dr. Chang had led a cybersecurity solution team for Foxconn from 2018 to 2021, led Teaching and Learning Development Division for Hacker College of NCTU from 2016 to 2018, and served IEEE Reliability Magazine as an assistant editor from 2015 to 2016. He was also a lecturer in cybersecurity for NCTU Hacker College, HITCON Community 2018, and other related training programs. His research interest includes cryptography, IoT security, penetration testing, and information security education.

Cybersecurity is widely noted in recent years. Instead of diving into particular technical issues, this talk will give a brief picture of current cybersecurity market with following contents:
Defense Products in the Cybersecurity Market
This talk will first introduce defence systems which enterprises may need to protect themselves against cyberattacks. A matrix, called Cyber Defense Matrix (CDM), which was introduced by Sounil Yu in 2016 and involved by OWASP is very useful. This talk will use CDM to help the audience to quickly have a view of actual products in the cybersecurity market.
Professional Services in the Cybersecurity Market
The second part is to discuss the professional services which enterprises may require to ensure the security of their IT environment. The Cybersecurity Professional Matrix (CPM), which is proposed in HITCON Community 2018, will be introduced here. This CPM will be used to help the audience to quickly understand various kinds of cybersecurity services which enterprises could need.
An emerging trend: AI-empowered Security Visibility
Security Visibility is the capability to understand current status of each security aspects such as endpoint compliance, network attacks, as well as users' abnormal behavior. A SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) system which analyzes network traffic and system logs will help. However, the enterprise-scale data makes traditional, manual, rule-based analysis methods almost unusable. Recently, AI is widely used in this area. This talk will also briefly state the beauty and the ugliness of AI-empowered Security Visibility.
