The PHP 5 Life Cycle discontinued the feature update in January 2017 and will stop releasing the secure line update by the end of this year (by the end of 2018).

To provide you better and safer web services and to avoid security vulnerabilities caused by personal web services, the computer center plans to upgrade the PHP version of personal web services to the 7.2 this year.

The current upgrade plan is divided into three phases:

The first stage
As of March 1, PHP 5 and 7 coexist and default to PHP 5, which can be switched to PHP 7 by setting `/php72`.
In your workstation home directory public_html folder new `php72` folder, placed in the PHP file will be executed using PHP 7, the rest are still using PHP 5 implementation.

second stage
Since May 1, PHP 5 and 7 are still coexisting, but by default PHP 7 is used, and you need to switch to PHP 5 by setting `/php56`, if you want to using PHP 5.
Add `php56` folder to the public_html folder in your workstation home directory. The PHP files placed in it will be executed using PHP 5, and the rest will be executed using PHP 7.

The third phase
PHP will be offline since August 1st and is fully serviced by PHP 7.

Remind you before the third phase as soon as possible to the original PHP 5 related files to upgrade the test, has been made after the upgrade will not cause you trouble.
