Information and Network Security

As computers and networks have become the pillar stone of societies, they are now under constant threats of security attacks from criminals, organizations, and even nations. The information and network security group focuses on the study of security threats and the development of attack and defense technologies needed for maintaining the order of the digital world. The department of computer science at National Chiao Tung University has the largest faculty group and student body in Taiwan on cryptography, system security, and network security. It has also established dedicated security degree programs and research centers. Beyond academic research and education, the group has also been working closely with the industry and the government on fostering businesses and establishing policies.
