講題：Recent advances in computer Shogi
摘要：
The playing strength of computer shogi (Japanese chess) programs is now reaching the level of top professional players. In this talk, I will first talk about Gekisashi, the shogi program that we have been developing for more than a decade and its algorithms for efficient search and learning its evaluation function. I will also talk about some popular algorithms that are widely used in state-of-the-art shogi programs. Finally, I will talk about our recent research efforts for creating a program that can automatically generate natural language comments on moves and positions in shogi games.
