• 國家實驗研究院國家高速網路與計算中心兼任研究員

Chao-Tung Yang is a Lifetime Distinguished Professor of Computer Science at Tunghai University in Taiwan. He received a B.Sc. degree in Computer Science from Tunghai University in 1990, and the M.Sc. degree in Computer Science from National Chiao Tung University in 1992.  He received the Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from National Chiao Tung University in June 1996. In August 2001, he joined the Faculty of the Department of Computer Science at Tunghai University as an Associate Professor. He is a full Professor started in August 2007 and as a Distinguished Professor in August 2015.  His present research interests are in Cloud computing and Big data, Parallel and multicore computing, and Web-based applications.

近年「大」數據(Big Data)、「人」工智慧(AI)、「物」聯網(IoT)與「雲」端運算(Cloud Computing)等議題為各界關注之焦點，政府、企業與大學均朝此趨勢發展及挑戰，以獲取和提供更便利有用的各項數據資料暨應用與資訊服務。本演講將由東海大學楊朝棟終身特聘教授分享「大人物雲時代的創新應用」。
