大綱:

-  In the advent of Internet of Things (IoT), ultra-broadband multi-access networks and micro-service architectures, the world is undertaking the largest overhaul of ICT infrastructures ever! As a part of the 4th Industrial Revolution (IR4), this transformation is marked by: (1) the disperse of information exchanges, storage and processing power through the deployment of Edge/Fog Computing over the Internet, and (2) the optimization of micro-service management and orchestration along this IoT-to-Cloud Continuum. In this talk, I will give an overall picture of IoT and Edge/Fog Computing and the roles they play in IR4.
