Electrical Engineer
- Job Description
- Drive electron beam defect inspection and data analysis on 300mm semiconductor production wafers to improve die yield at world's most advanced semiconductor foundries.
- Work closely PDF internal engineering team and with our customers at advanced semiconductor wafer fabs to implement PDF’s new Design-for-Inspection (DFITM) solution, a comprehensive methodology for yield ramp and manufacturing control.
- Manipulate IC layout files and adjust algorithms for making DFITM recipes.
- Work hands-on with on PDF’s Ebeam tool for DFITM solution, the eProbeTM-150
- Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelors/Masters degree or higher in engineering. Electrical, computer science, physics, material science, or similar engineering field are preferred
- Experience in an object programming language (e.g. Python, Java, C#, C++)
- Experience with a data analysis package (e.g. Excel, MATLAB, R, JMP)
- Solid analytical and engineering skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin
- Be able to drive (i.e. have valid car driver license) between client sites.
- Other desirable Skills and Experience
- Willingness to travel to (up to 30%) to other client sites in Asia (Korea and China)
- Experience or familiarity with semiconductor IC manufacturing especially at sub-28nm technology nodes
- Experience or familiarity with semiconductor capital equipment especially those dealing with vacuum equipment
