Electrical Engineer
Job Description
o Drive inspection, analysis, and review of devices to improve production on some of the world's most advanced ICs.
o Work with closely with customers and our consulting team to carry out Design-for-Inspection (DFITM) program with applications and process engineering.
o Study IC layout files to write tool recipes and run computer vision algorithms.
o Work hands-on with eProbeTM-150 series eBeam tool to analyze proprietary, on-chip characterization instruments.
Required Skills and Experience
o Bachelors/Masters degree or higher in electrical engineering, computer science, applied physics, or similar engineering field
o Object Oriented Programming (Python, Java, C#, C++, or Ruby, etc.)
o Statistics and data analysis (MATLAB, R, JMP, Tableau, etc.)
o Solid analytical and engineering skills
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in English and Mandarin
o May require 50% travel to client sites worldwide, primarily in Asia. Must be cleared to travel to sites in Japan, Korea and China.
o Be healthy enough to be able to take stairs (if needed) and have a valid car driver license.
Desired Skills and Experience
o Experience with the following is a plus:
o Experience or hands-on coursework in IC manufacturing
o Computer Vision and Image Processing (OpenCV, NumPy, SciPy)
o Sub-22nm semiconductor fabrication (FINFET, Double Patterning)
o Vacuum tools, vacuum systems and pumps, electron beam columns, wafer handling robots, and/or motion control
