演講摘要：
The computer industry has been evolved and augmented from mainframe, to mini, to PC, to mobile, and now devices. I will briefly go through the driving forces that push the evolvement. Learning from history, I will share my view about what to bet on in the coming years. Also I would like to point out building product values is more than just building technologies. Hopefully I will also be able to offer some guidance for students who are or soon will be looking for jobs.
講者簡介：
I had worked for Microsoft for more than 10 years before starting Synology Inc. in 2000. With the solid software development experience in Microsoft, I brought back the concept of system programming to Taiwan. In 2006, I started Synology America Corp. in US. I focused on marketing Synology products for US market. In year 2015, I retired from Synology. The retirement gave me more time to think how to contribute to Taiwan IT industry. I hope that I can offer inspirations by sharing some of my views of the industry trend based on my past years of practical experience.
