The Department of Computer Science invites applications at all levels of Tenure-track Full Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor, beginning in February 2016. Applicants in all areas of computer science are welcome. Candidates should have a Ph.D. degree in the related areas, strong commitment to excellent research and teaching, and evidence of outstanding research accomplishment or potential. The department offers BS/MS/PhD. programs and provides an excellent research and teaching environment. The National Chiao Tung University is one of the top-ranking universities in Taiwan. It is located in Hsinchu City, about 70 kilometers south of Taipei, and next to the Hsinchu Science-based Industrial Park, which is famous for its world-class ICT industry. There are substantial opportunities to collaborate with high-tech companies and obtain funds for industrial projects.
Candidates are sought particularly with strong background and interests in the areas of:
- Big Data Analytics
- Software/Hardware Integration
- Human Computer Interface
- Software Engineering
- Networking ( IoT, SDN, 5G, etc.)
- Image Processing
Exceptional candidates in other CS areas will be also considered.
