Description 

Intel Labs is seeking a motivated graduate intern to performing research to advance the agendas of Intel Labs and Emerging Platform Solutions (EPS) research group. The intern will work with Intel's University research partners in Taiwan at the Intel-NTU Connected Contextual Computing Center. The intern will be responsible for cutting-edge research in creating solutions for intelligent IOT systems. The intern will be part of a team that addresses core challenges in IOT system control algorithms, sensor data fusion and analytics, and IOT device management to increase the rate and breadth of IOT systems adoption across multiple vertical markets. In particular, the intern will participate in projects defining and building intelligent analytic solutions for IOT systems and services. 

Qualifications

The successful candidate must possess a minimum of Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering. Additional qualifications include:

Proficiency in C/C++, algorithms, shell scripting

Must have hands-on software development and prototyping skills

Ability to utilize multi-disciplinary expertise in areas including video coding, computer vision, machine learning and data analytics

Strong problem solving capability

Self-motivated and work under pressure

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Solid written and verbal communication for expressing technical ideas and initiatives

Comfortable task switching and managing multiple tasks at the same time
