Artificial Intelligence has rapidly advanced from academic research to real-world enterprise deployment. However, building AI models is only one part of the challenge—delivering real impact requires integrating AI into complex business systems and workflows. This talk explores how AI is applied in industry through real cases from consulting and the insurance sector. We will discuss how modern AI systems are designed, including data pipelines, large language models, and enterprise integrations. The session also highlights the evolving role of AI engineers and the skills needed to turn AI capabilities into scalable products that transform organizations and industries.

【講者經歷】

Elvis Yang is an AI and digital transformation professional with experience across consulting and the insurance industry. He previously worked at Deloitte, where he led enterprise AI initiatives focused on integrating technologies such as large language models, document intelligence, and automation platforms into complex business systems. He is currently with Chubb, where he continues to explore how AI can enhance operational efficiency and decision-making within the insurance sector.

Elvis holds a PhD from NCTU. During his research career, he spent time in the Boston area collaborating with research teams affiliated with MIT and Harvard, gaining exposure to interdisciplinary AI and data-driven research. Combining academic training with industry experience, Elvis focuses on bridging the gap between AI research and real-world enterprise deployment.
