演講摘要
There is a sea change in the ICT industry world wide, in terms of the underlying technologies, business models, and supply-chain ecosystems.
Being a major R&D force for Taiwan’s ICT industry, ITRI’s Information and Communications Laboratories (ICL) recently embarked on an extensive soul
search to pinpoint what its role should be, how to stand out, and how to maximize the impacts of its R&D results. In this talk, I will go over a list of
specific technology directions we plan to pursue, and invite universities to join us to reinvigorate Taiwan’s ICT industries from its current stagnancy.
