Speaker Bio

En Tzu Wang received her PhD degree in computer science from National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan, 2010. She joined ITRI (Industrial Technology Research Institute) as a software engineer in September 2010, and became the senior engineer and principal engineer in 2013 and 2023, respectively. She is the division director of the intelligent life application technology division in ICL (Information and Communications Research Laboratories of ITRI), leading over 80 researchers and engineers to dedicate on technology development, and integrating open-source projects and cloud services to assist industry in rapidly adopting AI and Big Data technologies to enhance value-added services. The applications include the areas of retail, telecom, tourism, finance, and medical. She has received numerous awards, including 2020 outstanding youth electrical engineer award at CIEE (Chinese Institute of Electrical Engineering), and ITRI quality model awards three times. The project she led, Next-Generation AI-Powered Robo-Advisor technology, NeGAP, was honored as the won the Merit winner of 2020 WITSA Global ICT Excellence Award in Digital Innovation Award.
