In high school, Sam was first exposed to programming and immediately fell in love with the endless possibility. After graduating from UCLA with a CS degree, he joined FB as a software engineer, working on the marketplace product. Sam gained a lot of exposure in the e-commerce space and started his own online store, and later created one of the most popular Shopify apps on the app store. After selling the app for more than $3 million USD, Sam started a new startup tackling the e-commerce supply chain challenge and raised $3 million in the seed round from Google's Gradient Venture. Sam enjoys tennis, traveling, and meeting new people outside of work.
