Subject: TA for numerical software development, instructor Yung-Yu Chen

The course numerical software development (5262, 1NAB, EC122) in 2019 fall semester needs a TA for grading homework assignments and a mid-term exam for the course.  Most of the homework assignments require writing computer programs and should be turned in through GitHub pull requests.  The course notes can be found at https://github.com/yungyuc/nsd .

English reading and writing skills are required as the course uses English only.  It is a plus to be fluent in speaking.  The grader should be familiar with AWS, Jupyter Notebook, Python (CPython), modern C++, Ubuntu Linux, github, or be able to quickly get familiar with the technologies.  Graduate students are preferred candidates.  If there are any questions please reach the instructor Dr. Yung-Yu Chen through email yyc@solvcon.net .
